Autumn Winter 2018 Trends

Summer will soon be over, and as the nights are drawing in, and it’s time to start thinking about the winter months. In this blog, we’re going to look at some of the best trends that will be rocking everywhere this winter.

Vibrant colours

Summer isn’t the only season that you can wear bright colours. As the days get shorter keep some colour in your life by choosing bright hues. They are super trendy just now.

Hats and winter go together like bread and butter, so make sure you keep yourself warm by investing in a good hat. Beanies are definitely the way to go. They’re comfy, they go with anything and you will look as cool as Jay out of Jay and Silent Bob.

Plaid has been around for ten thousand years, mummies in China dating that far back have been found wearing it. The style from then would be unrecognisable, but the modern Scottish tinged styles are perfect for an elegant look in winter.

V-Neck Sweaters

Deep V sweaters are a massive trend for this winter. It doesn’t matter the style of knitting as long as it has that plunging neckline.

Velvet trousers

Velvet made a fleeting appearance in 2017 but it’s back with a vengeance in 2018. Get yourself some velvet trousers for a sumptuous winter look. Choose dark blue or dark red to be right on trend.

Baby bags

Big handbags are a thing of the past. Baby bags that can fit your phone and some money are all you need. This cute miniature trend is going to be everywhere so pick one up and leave all that extra junk from your handbag at home.

Black and Orange

Orange and black are the new black. Forget connotations of Halloween, and don’t be scared of how garish this combination might seem at first. The key to wearing this look is the ratio. Aim for mainly black with flashes of orange. If you do that you’ll look good and won’t end up looking like you’ve just come from Guantanamo Bay.
